Extra running of our Day Trip to Portsmouth
Our Day trip to Portsmouth from Cowes runs every Saturday and Sunday and for the 4 day Easter Weekend (18th to 21st April) we will run every day. Leaving Cowes at 0930 and returning into Cowes around 1800.
Two Ports Cruise of Cowes & Portsmouth

Cruise through Cowes Harbour, world famous for yachting, out into the Solent with fantastic views of the Island coastline, Osborne House and Norris Castle.
We then cruise on across the eastern Solent with views of the Solent sea forts and into the Portsmouth Naval Base, home of the Royal Navy, past and present. Sails Wednesdays, Thursdays & Sundays (subject to availability). Leaving our Thetis Wharf Terminal at 1030 for approximately two and half hours.
Gunwharf Quays Easter Trail
Between the 1st and 31st April take part in the free Easter Trail at Gunwharf Quays. Pick up a map from Guest Services in Central Square and hunt down historical landmarks around the centre (plus special guest – Luna the Dinosaur!). Match the stickers to the right spots, then return your completed map to claim an exclusive prize.
Mary Rose Hatch’s History Detectives Trail
Running between the 5th to the 20th the Mary Roase popular Hatch’s History Detectives trail, is one for all the family. Follow the ship’s dog’s paw prints through the museum galleries and find out the crew’s top tips for staying in style. On certain days there is also an activity centre and don’t miss learning about the raising of the Mary Rose.
Discover HMS Warrior
Transport yourself back in time to the heyday of the Royal Navy and mingle with a crew of colourful characters as you explore this genuine icon, reimagined exactly as she was in 1863, and still fully afloat some 150 years later. Join Victorian tourists as you stroll along the top-deck, chat with the crew as they go about their duties, or venture down into the engine rooms get to grips with the machinery that revolutionised the Royal Navy.
Easter Chocolate Making Workshop at The Spinnaker Tower
Head to the Spinnaker Tower for a sweet treat. From 18 to 21 April there will be fun chocolate-making workshops, where you can make your very own chocolate lolly, meet the Easter Bunny, and join the family fun trail. Plus, enjoy breath-taking views from 100 metres above the Solent and explore the Sky Garden as you learn about Portsmouth’s maritime history. See if you can spot our boats from the tower.
