We are so proud of our heritage and thriving family business now in its 60th year, fondly remembering our founder Mark Rayment, with siblings Ali and Lee Rayment now at the reigns as joint Managing Directors, building for the future. We continue to be invested in the local community and focussed on our customers and so pleased that other ‘Rayment’ family members are now being slowly introduced to the business to help us maintain our long-term vision for the future.

At just 13 years old Toby (Ali’s son) already wants to be involved in the business, and this summer has been working on Wight Scene assisting the crew with our Two Ports Cruise.  Toby is very willing to learn the ropes (excuse the pun).  His interest in the business means more than just helping, it reflects his appreciation for the hard work and dedication that has built our family’s livelihood.  We are excited to see him grow, contribute, and carry on a tradition that means so much to our family.

Lee’s daughter Ashleigh is returning from Australia where she has been living and travelling for the past 2 years. Her experiences abroad have given her new perspectives, valuable skills and a broadened outlook that will help to push the business forward towards the future. Ashleigh is aiming on getting her Boat Masters to enable her to skipper the vessels. Having her return to contribute to something that she has grown up with feels like the beginning of a new chapter for the family business.
